As of Saturday, I am the featured artist in the Riverbend Benjamin Moore Location (544 Riverbend Sq NW). Thank you so much to Renee and Andre. Thank you for supporting local artists. Thank you for considering me. Thanks for CHOOSING ME as the next artist to display. I'm so grateful for the opportunity! Currently I have 11 paintings in the location. If anyone is interested in these pieces please visit the staff at My Favorite Paint - Benjamin Moore. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact me. Below are the paintings currently for sale at location: ....... to being done some new work! The number of "half finished/not complete/need some more love/almost done" canvases that are gathering in my living space is getting a little crazy. As I have mentioned I have the upcoming Whyte Ave Art Walk on July 13-15 and have been scrambling to get prepared for the unknown.
I also had another solo showing pop up that I got prepared in a hurry (post about that to follow). I stumbled upon this today on lovely Pinterest and thought it was certainly blog worthy. Who does not love summer, right? I'm excited for warm weather, summer festivals and flowers. Happy Summer Solstice Everyone! xo
I returned from my British Columbia road trip last Monday but am only now getting the chance to upload my photos, after a busy week. My conclusion is I simply do not go to the mountains enough! I really enjoy waterfalls and seriously could have stopped every 5 minutes to look at every single little one on the side of the highway. I obviously could not have done that and ever gotten to my destination but did get the chance to visit Bridal Veil Falls. They were awesome. I love any kind of water!
I love cherry blossoms! Every year I have the intention to get out and take some shots of them and every year I seem to manage to be away or busy or insert some other excuse. Their life span is so short. This year I was headed out on a road trip to BC. I was determined to not miss them completely. At 5 am on the departure day I stopped on the side of a residential street in my neighborhood and got a few quick snaps before I hit the highway. I'm glad I did!
