"Time goes by so fast"
"Where does the time go"
"Seems like the older I get the quicker the years seem"
or the many many other ways you can indicate such.
What a busy summer it was! As I close the window to my office as there is a noticeable familiar chill in the evening air, I'm trying to rerun the last two-three months in my head. Here goes (in no specific order):
- I took on a few too many commissions that I am still working my way through. Feeling super grateful for patient clients whom license to use my creative freedom as it surfaces. It really gives me the full chance to develop work I love.
- Went to Newfoundland to visit my family. Other than the expected dreary weather, for some of it, I got some much need battery charging and hunted for sea glass for another side project I'm beginning.
I have two more shows before winter creeps in.

If you haven't yet had much opportunity to get out to all the wonderful festivals Edmonton has to offer I hope to see you at one of these. There is still summer left to enjoy.
